Perpignan is a commune and the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France with a population of 120.000 in the city proper. |

The metropolitan area has a total population of 300,000 in 2010. The city is located south of France near to the spanish boarder.
| Settlement in the area go back to Roman times. Medieval town seems to have been founded around early 10th century. Besieged, captured by the French during the 30Years’ War in 1642, it was ceded by Spain 17 years later and began to form part of the Kingdom of France. |  |

Our local Orga. has done a lot to bring you a fresh french event! Graffiti, Rap, Breakdanicng, DJing, Beatbox and Beat-making, a lot of artists from all over France have confirmed thier coming. Be prepared for an impressive lection in Hip-Hop-culture. |
The spot as you can see is a very chilly place with a nice nice wall. Be ready to experience french Graffiteurs on a top-level.
The wall has hundreds of meter length and is about 2.50m high. About 40 artists from France and beyond will work together to create one large piece of art.

Saturday: start 10AM/ END 8PM / Saturday Night, special concert: start 8PM/ end: midnight ; DJ set : from midnight till 01AM; Then MOS aftershow in a HipHop-Club all night /Sunday start 11AM/ end O8PM / Special Lunch : Huge Paella (typical plate) /all day live Graffiti, Rap, DJ, Breakdance and other shows. Of course it’s FREE.

An annual ceremony called “The Procession de la Sanchis” is held in several towns in France and opens Easter holy week. Historically, a distinctive peaked, masked robe is used to protect the identity of prisoners (from revenge by those wronged) being led to their town’s annual execution.

This practical ceremony intermingled with Christian traditions of Good Friday and a today a long procession of black-robed people are led in silence |
by someone in a red robe to the solemn tapping of a tambourine, as part of the Good Friday celebrations.
