dsc04119.JPG After the city of Wiesbaden has torn down the legendary Mural-Art-Gallery at the old Schlachthof Wiesbaden, the area is in a total commercial use now.

Since years local critics try to stop all Graffiti-projects in Wiesbaden. But due to political games and new majorities, there is a serious threat that the city cuts off spots and support.

If you want to support our projects, send a serious E-Mail to let them know, why it is important to integrate Mural-Art in public space. Click on E-MAIL

It´s been a non-profit association which created a concept of a park, concentrated on different urban cultures and generations, in order to contribute the meeting and netting of people who enjoy culture in all its different forms of expression. But then Monopoly started.

Elfen582.jpgGang588.jpg Different interests, aims, politics.

At least the vision of a cultural-park at the old Schlachthof-grounds, containing a Graffiti-Gallery, ramps, pools to skate, play- grounds etc got instrumentalised for mostly personal and political purposes.

The failure of the entire project was completed by the lack of sincere interest of the city-council and finally led into the demolition of the Gallery and its reconstruction for a further
commercial use of the area. Instead of a cultural and social use of the abandonned buildings, a worldwide known Gallery had been totally destroyed in order to create a big park with parking. abrisshof.jpg
kahlemuhle-totale_1.JPG After ten years of struggle, fortunately we were able to save some walls and spots around the city and found a new spot to keep the MOS in its mothertown.
But still: after 10years of public work there are still too many people out there, who dont know what Graffiti- and Mural-Art really is, cause for them, a wall has to remain grey. dsc04271.JPG
dsc04119.JPG So we ask you and the world for your help to expand mental horizons and to raise tolerance and respect in order to change extract small minds.

“Meeting of styles” name speak for itself..
meeting of different people, artists, ideas, concepts for life and colour surviving in our computer digital grey world..
events like WSM and MOS is very important for the future of all kind of exterior and interior art..Most of peolpe know graffiti as a vandalism, hooligan behavour, and criminal attitude..
    but that’s not true….
Events like this shows that graffiti, and art with the spraycans can be beautiful way to communicate with people from different countrues,cultures..Community without art is poor..
Everybody want to show himselfs someway….thats our way..
and MOS is the right place for it..

in front of this things is always difficoult to find the right words…
it’s terrible but it’s not the first time and we know that will be not the last time…
what can I say? we’ll paint together this year and in the future better than before to try to expand mental horizons of who doesn’t want to see graffiti like an art.
see you all at MOS 2008 to rappresent the differents styles of this only culture.

the importance 0f artists meeting on an international level to exchange ideas and to progress talents is essential to the fabric of society and the friendship of nations. It expands peoples horizons and gives people a vision beyond the drab grey depressing landscape generated by greed.
