Unfortunately we are facing some unexpected problems this year, so we have to cancel and postpone the russian MOS. |
After receiving the permit for this nice spot, authorities feared too many spectators and are afraid of accidents in the old factory. Beside of the permit we had problems bringing our sponsored cans into the country due to high customfees. After we realised we tried to find alternative sponsorships, but due to competition in the spraycan-market unfortunately no other brands wanted to help. So the only option we have is to cancel the date and postpone the event. Sorry about this, but what else can we do.
Especially for those who love old factories, our russian Orga had found a very nice and unique spot – an abandoned complex in the heart of the city.«Red Triangle» — one of the oldest industrial enterprises of Petersburg to whom next year 145 years could be executed. The history of the main rubber factory of the country is a history of all industry of Russia from the moment of its formation and till today.

The secret of creation of rubber was carefully protected by the company of the Russian-American manufacture. Each technician arriving for work signed «a fidelity oath». Since 1908 the Russian-American manufacture has assigned the name “the Triangle” corresponding to the trademark. «In a sign on firm a triangle — the main thing, evident to the illiterate buyer». |

In the first post-war years as well as after revolution, the quantitative result, instead of qualitative was the most important. By 1990 the financial position of Russia has become complicated. St.-Petersburg which does not have own raw-material base, has appeared in most difficult situation. 1992-1996 of reforms were the heaviest and were characterized by considerable reduction of industrial production.

In 1998-1999 in connection with a difficult financial position of Open Society «Red triangle» the board of directors four times considered a question on enterprise re-structuring. However any concrete decisions was not accepted. |
| 1999 the enterprise faced a critical financial position, the debts under the salary have reached 6 months. With a view of partial repayment of shortages the Federal Agency of tax police had been put arrest enterprise actives, the property part is realized. |  |
Now all the buildings are abandoned.

i feel it will be not democratic festival again…
The people who will hold festival, just wanna to put money in own pockets/ they will invite a little count of people which they know. Just invite freinds.

to Trun-TADFF: I don’t pretend to be a participant. Just in 2008 MOS was an open event – anybody could come and see how the wall was painted. In 2009 they announced MOS in one place – but then repraced without notion about this. This year the only notion about MOS in St Petersburg is placed here, with no one notion in Russian media or internet. It looks like they are hiding from people, in contrast to other countries where MOS is an open festival
