What is this bs? First you dídn’t organize shit in the Netherlands in 2008.. Now you are telling me there isn’t going to be a next MOS.. It’s time to take matters in our own hands.. Time for us to organize meetings.. Imma keep writing that shit anyway.. BOMB THE F*CKIN’ WORLD..

what about securing sponsorship from other companies other then paint ones? there are lots of products that would flow well with the graf vibe – red bull for instance – and maybe smoe cross promotion would be beneficial for all involved. or how about making the event inclusive of other forms of art like breakdancing or dj-ing as well? then you can reach out to companies that sponsor those types of endeavors? when shit like this happens its important to hink outside the box and maybe take things to the next level… instead of cancelling it, make it bigger, better and bas-asser then it ever was.. the more people you involve, the bigger the movement is.

this kind of event shouldn’t ever be cancelled – its too fly and important to give up without a fight. reach out to the RockSteady Crew (Crazy Legs maybe?) and see if they have any ideas. i would love to help any way i can!

>finding sponsors on international level as a non-commercial-organisation is a very tuff chalenge. lots of the companies dont even reply after you reached out with a proposal. they are strictly profit-concetrated and dont care if they have credibility within the culture, they just buy it. they dont want to pay back, they want to sell. and the action tells. but however, we are not giving up, but will continue on our mission for the independance and freedom of art!

what about other sponsors? maybe it can be a “bring your own paint” event but sponsorship can be secured from beverage companies (like red bull) or sneaker companies or clothing, accessories, radio stations.. whatever.

grafitti is a beautiful expression of art and has the ability to bring people together. if the paint companies won’t support it, then fuck em – move on to other sponsors. besides if you step outside the immediate realm, you will have a more diverse group of people at the event.

maybe you can involve the RockSteadyCrew.. they put on a great show every year for free in Newark NJ, and they are tight with the folks at red bull.

you dont have to do this alone, reach out to this community for ideas and support and maybe together we can all make it happen.

Maybe we should all stop ordering paint for 1 year. We al return to the writerbench, have skizzles and paint with markers, acrylic and other stuff.

I guess If big brands would see, that never the less we don’t need their brands, they might soften up to us, ….

It’s a pity it has to be like this, because all the moneything and competition between brands has nothing to do with art.

The only people that won’t take benefit of this problem are the artists themselves, so no events, no art, no creativity, ……
Thanx to all major brands!

Hopefully an alternative shows up.
