Wiesbaden, the home of the Meeting, joins a long tradition of Graffiti-Events since 1997. But eventhough the local coalition is close to stop the projects…

All you politicians, graffiti-lovers and haters out there: Check out the art and relax your mind!

	Since the destruction of the worldwide known Schlachthof in 2002 critics still try to stop the Meeting. Nevertheless, a new spot had been found: The Brückenkopf, actually the biggest Mural-Gallery among Rhine-Main.
It´s a huge underpass-complex at the bench of the Rhinen containing 2000qm space on several walls, well reachable by train, car and bus.

The german MOS turned out to be a huge success. The main wall had been done in the spirit of intercultural exchange. But still the local coalition tries to stop the event by cutting the city-support.

The walls are generally available for painting all year long. Beside of the Brückenkopf there are more legal walls in Wiesbaden. So the city is always worth a visit.

The Jam already started thursday with the arrival of the first foreign guests and preparation of the wall until evening. The story continues next morning when scafoldings were up.
	Artists got buisy, doing first lines, collecting, discussing ideas, drawing and filling. The concept: globalisation and climate-change. Till Death from Greece overtook the left part of the

wall with a huge evil character representing hell. Spider from UK put a crying child upon the wall, facing the evil while above Kolekyf from Poland created the player behind the scenery, controlling and playing.
	3Steps put the wall apart with a giant-woman and an earth-quake shaking, destroying the city while Made of EAD turned into a hurrican

You can find the Brückenkopf-spot easily from the highway A66 direction Wiesbaden, Rüdesheim. Exit Mainz-Kastel, then follow direction Mainz. Stay straight when you enter the first traffic-circle. Afterwards you go up the street to the next traffic-circle and you see the river and the bridge. Now you got to find some space to park your car.

By train you can find the station Mainz-Kastel easily on the S9 and S1-line. Once you are at the station you can see the underpass-complex. Coming from Wiesbaden by bus, you can find the station Brückenkopf, Theodor-Heuss-Brücke on busline 6 and from Mainz on lines 9, 54, 55, 56, 68.
