Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal, with a population of 564,657 within its administrative limits^. The urban area of Lisbon extends city limits with a population of 2.4 million^[ making it the 12th most populous urban area in the European Union.

The portugese chapter of the worldwide Zulu-Nation will be the host of the portugese Meeting bringing you a nice event representing all disciplines united under one headline:  Peace.

Cause of the mayor and the city supplier being used on the original date we are forced to postpone the MOS to one week later.  As the city authorities are official organizer for KUL SIGN & MOS KL 2010 we had no choice but to agree to make it happen.

We are proud to present the first Meeting Of Styles in Asia! The place to be: the malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur (translated as: “muddy confluence,” “muddy estuary,” and “muddy city” is the capital and largest city of Malaysia. The city has an estimated population of 1.6 million, the urban agglomeration of 7.2 million. It is the fastest growing metropolitan region in the country, in terms of population as well as economy and also the cultural and economic centre of Malaysia due to its position as the capital.

RapidKL is the operator of two light rail transit (LRT) lines, the largest stage bus and feeder bus operator in Kuala Lumpur, and also operates the single line of the KL Monorail and parts of the KLIA transit service.

The entire rail network operated by RapidKL is 56 km long and has 49 stations. In 2008, these two lines carry a total of over 350,000 passengers daily. The rail network consists of the Ampang Line and the Kelana Jaya Line, which were opened in 1995 and 1998 respectively.
	Along with the KTM Komuter and Kuala Lumpur Monorail networks, this system constitutes the core of public transport in Kuala Lumpur.

The two lines were constructed and initially operated by different owners. In 2004, operational aspects of the two LRT lines were transferred to RapidKL under the second phase of the restructuring process of Kuala Lumpur’s public transportation network.

Peru get ready! For the first time up in the sky close to the Andes.

First time MOS visits Lima here are some basic facts… capital and largest city of Peru, located in valleys on a desert coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Together with the seaport of Callao, it forms a contiguous urban area known as the Lima Metropolitan Areawith a populationof 9 million it forms the fifth largest city in Latin America, behind Mexico City, São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.

Lima was founded by Spanish conquistador 1535, as La Ciudad de los Reyes, or “The City of Kings.” Following the Peruvian War of Independence, it became the capital of the Republic of Peru.

Almost 500 years after its foundation Lima for the first time since its existence joins the Int. Meeting Of Styles, coming through with a nice spot and interesting line-up as south-american Graf-scene is strong, vivid and ambitious.

Sinormas by the support of the minicpality arranged nice painting-space spread among several walls containing hundreds of squaremeters to paint….

	The Lima Metro, called Tren Eléctrico, is the electric mass transit system of the Lima Metropolitan Area. In 2010, it consists of one 9.2 kilometres (5.7 mi) line in the southern area of the metropolis
that has known very few days of public operations since its construction, although it is technically ready for it since 1997. Work is under way since march 2010 with public operations hoped for july 2011.

Thousands of squaremeters already done, thousands more to come. The sixth edition of the italian MOS comes back to the green heart of the city.

Now the Int. Meeting Of Styles returns thanks to the efforts of Mestre´s Urban Code. The chosen place for the second time is the Albanese Bissuola Park, the green heart of Mestre.

The Meeting Of Styles in Venice as all MOS is an event open to the public, an occasion for celebration and reflection, meeting people and … meeting of styles:  styles of letters and illustrations produced by a rich selection of the best Italian writers.

From the early 90′s the park is a meeting place for various youth groups in the city, including skaters and writers. Urban Code wants it continue to do so.

For years painting the spot the local writers and Urban Code claim that space to give space for the younger generation of writers as well.

Confined spaces, no free wall all spaces assigned. Thank you for your interest annually to the Meeting of Styles!

22nd October 2010 – “Int. Meeting of Styles”-Art-Show and Expo

Finally we are able to present art on canvases as well as large scale photo-prints in a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The art-show will continue for 8 weeks and will also present the movie “Bomb It” at a later date.

The expo will present art works of artists who represented during the MOS as well as some of the burner walls created around the globe.

The time was right, the crew was ready… after years of struggle and work the universe was on our side granting an unique opportunity. In early 2010 after countless projects, years of work and commitment Wiesbaden based Hip-Hop-Artists have formed to establish Collabo eV..

An associaton with the purpose to promote and to preserve urban culture, but also to establish a forum in order to support netting and exhange.

Through a blessing Collabo eV has had the opportunity to rent a building in Wiesbaden, near to the legendary Schlachthof-grounds. The property contains rooms for music groups, a funky backyard, a groovy basement and houses a club and bistro.

MOS strikes back in Mexico City. The place to be: more than two entire city blocks to paint.

Mexico has a strong Graf- and Writing-scene and is on the MOS-map since the early days. The spot our local orga has arranged contains severalwalls spread among a city block and beyond.

For the first time the Meeting visited San Francisco at one of the most historic and famous places for Mural-Art – the Mission district.

The Westcoast Meeting is etsablished since the early days of the MOS.

The Mission District, commonly called “The Mission”, is a neighborhood in San Francisco named after the oldest building of San Fran, which is located in the neighborhood. Numerous artistic and cultural institutions are based here.

The Mission is also famous for its Murals initiated and inspired by the traditional Mexican paintings made famous by Diego Rivera. Although located on various buildings and walls all over the neighborhood.

The Mission district is also famous and influential for introducing Mexican food to Americans, especially burritos and is the original home of the San Francisco burrito style.

	The spot: The famous Lilca Alley at the Mission with many different walls to rock!

Chicago with its diverse and vivid Graf-scene is a mandatory destination of the MOS since years.

Eventhough Graffiti is strongly criminalized (carriage of spraypaint

and markers is illegal), our local Orga has realised all MOS in the past and again is coming up with an interesting program and inspiring line-up of artists.

Graffiti-Rock in the Melting Pot. Long awaited, shortly coming up. This years MOS will be held at 5ptz  Graffiti-Factory.

The name 5Pointz signifies five boroughs coming together as one

but, because of its reputation as an epicenter of the graffiti scene, the industrial complex has actually united aerosol artists from across the world.

5ptz is prepping as many walls ready to go and will also get breakers and djs out there, a gallery exhibit is part of the plan as well.

Therefore foreign artists are welcome to submit works!

New city, new vibes, new skills! For the first time MOS is visiting the serbian capital Belgrade.

Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia, lies at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans.

With a population of 1,630,000 it is the third largest city in Southeastern Europe, after Istanbul and Athens. Its name in Serbian translates to White city.

Belgrade has the status of a separate territorial unit in Serbia, with its own autonomous city government and is the central economic hub of Serbia and the capital of education and science.

Its territory is divided into 17 municipalities, each having its own local council and covers 3.6% of the territory of Serbia and 24% of the country’s population lives in the city.

For the first time the MOS is coming to this major hub in the Balkans. Expect some interesting and inspiring skills from the southeast of Europe.

The IMT wall is located next to a fabric in New Belgrade on the main avenue.

It`s about 2.30m tall and about 200m long and is located at the very center of the city. It has a big park in front so it`s perfect for such a happening.
